Baby Bear Hugs
Home Visitation Program

The Baby Bear Hugs program provides services to families with newborn children up to age 3 through the use of community volunteers. Kiowa County currently has seven volunteer visitors and one in training.

Baby Bear Hugs is a volunteer program designed to promote positive parenting, enhance family strengths, and prevent abuse and neglect of infants and children.

Volunteer visitors are experienced parents who share their skills and knowledge with new parents. Visitors provide support, education, and information designed to make better parents and respond to the individual needs of the families they serve.
