Lisa L. Trigilio, the Director is responsible for maintaining the county's data book, compiling information on all commercial/industrial buildings/sites available in the county, and other statistics of use to business prospects. The Director also prepares grant applications for the Foundation and assists other local entities in grant preparation. The KCEDF Director is also available to assist existing businesses with information on financial programs, business plans and other areas of concern. The Foundation's membership drive begins in January of each year. It is hoped that the entire community - business, government and individuals - will become partners in the workings of the Foundation. A bonus of membership is the 25% tax credit for eligible contributors. The efforts of KCEDF are already showing promise as several inquiries have been made by companies concerning the possibility of doing business in Kiowa County. KCEDF has succeeded in bringing attention to Kiowa County and people are beginning to realize the potential of Kiowa County. Anyone interested in exploring the opportunities in Kiowa County, or in supporting the Kiowa County Economic Development Foundation, should contact the Foundation.
