Maine Street Bash
Eads, Colorado
August 1, 2008
No, “Maine” is not a typo! All the streets
in Eads were originally named after states and we couldn’t give
up the pun of the main drag being “Maine.” We would like to
share our good humor and fun loving with anyone who would like
to join us for our Third Annual Maine Street Bash. Friday,
August 1, will begin the morning with a GUITAR HERO contest at
10:30 a.m. at the theatre. Later at 6 p.m. a Kiddie Carnival
with games and live entertainment will being held simultaneously
with horseshoe and shuffle board tournaments. The evening will
finish up with a Bar-B-Q at 7 p.m. and GUITAR HERO finals
followed by a live music by Pieces of Eight and a street dance
and beer garden. Call 719-438-5358 to rent a food booth and
719-688-5416 to rent all other types of booths. The Bash is
sponsored by The Crow Luther Cultural Events Center Foundation
who will be collecting entrance fees and members will be taking
donations for a half pig drawing to be held during the evening.
