Recreation, Boating, Fishing, Hunting, and Camping at the Great Plains Reservoir and Adobe Creek Reservoir in Kiowa County Colorado

Kiowa County truly is where the Sun first shines on the state of Colorado.   Located on the  Eastern edge of Colorado, beautiful sunrises adorn 1872 square miles of pristine beauty, crystal blue skies, and vast prairies literally unscarred by urban blight.

Adding to the pastoral beauty of  Kiowa County is an amazing 23 square surface miles of lakes and reservoirs, making Kiowa County a boating and fishing paradise nearly unparalleled in Colorado!

Rich in history, the vast  beauty of Kiowa County is easily accessible and only a short 2 to 3 hour drive from Denver or Colorado Springs.  Visible wildlife and scenic vistas provide welcome relief from the snarl and congestion of crowded cities.
