Eads Public Swimming Pool

There are a variety of recreational opportunities in the Eads area.  There is a public swimming pool, horseshoe courts, trap shooting, archery, supervised gymnasium, basketball, weightlifting, aerobics, and a Nine-hole golf course, one of the few remaining golf courses with sand greens.   The greens are being converted to grass during the summer of 2002.

There is also youth baseball, softball, rodeo and other activities through out the year.  There is a yearly Road Rally, Demolition Derby, Art Festival, and several public barbecues which occur through out the year as well.  Don't forget the Kiowa County Fair and Rodeo each September!!

There is also a multitude of water/outdoor activities such as fishing, fishing tournaments, boating, water skiing, and camping  available at the nearby Great Plains Reservoirs.
